Michael Dolce, an attorney fighting for most child sexual abuse victims, has been charged by federal agents with having in his possession nearly 2,000 images and videos of child pornography.
Today he appeared in federal court in West Palm Beach. According to a Department of Justice statement, on March 15, federal agents conducted a search warrant at his apartment. According to the evidence collection statement at the time of the search, they found that the suspect was uploading a child pornography video to the internet.
Dolce was a child abuse attorney at the law firm Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll, who sent us the following statement.
“The Firm is stunned and saddened by these dire allegations. Michael Dolce has been terminated and is no longer affiliated with the Firm. We are focused on meeting the needs of our clients and staff and continue to cooperate fully with the investigation. .”
According to the authorities, on his computer they found folders containing sexual images of preteens. They managed to obtain 1,997 images and 5 videos of child pornography.
Dolce, who was also a victim of childhood sexual abuse, is represented by an attorney, we contacted his office, but as of the closing of this note, he did not return our call.
If convicted, Michael Dolce faces up to 20 years in prison.
