These are sensitive and powerful images. The clock read 8:59 a.m. Sunday when suddenly a group is attacked by gunfire outside a Pompano Beach business, which the camera captured.
A man riding a bicycle fell to the ground after being shot, while other people ran in terror trying to save their lives.
Unfortunately, the hail of bullets claimed the lives of a man and a woman, both adults, while a minor and other men were rushed to the Broward Health North trauma area with injuries not putting their lives in danger. Until this issue, the police had no suspects in custody.
The owner of the business in front of where it all happened describes the moment as horrible and terrifying, the windows of his premises were smashed, but none of his employees were injured.
However, several vehicles parked at the scene were hit by multiple projectiles.
The terrified witness said the shots appeared to come from a moving vehicle. Broward Sheriff’s Homicide detectives found numerous bullet casings at the scene after the violent incident in the 400 block and 27th Avenue northwest of Pompano Beach.
