HOUSTON — Authorities confirm that the victim of today’s afternoon shooting near the PlazAmericas shopping center is a deputy deputy with San Jacinto County Precinct 1.
The identity of the fallen officer is still unknown.
The attacker was transported to the hospital.
Houston police reported receiving the emergency call around 4:15 pm in the 7500 block of Bellaire Boulevard.
It is still unknown if there are more wounded.
