At least three patients are being treated by paramedics at a school in Arlington Heights, the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) reported.
The incident was reported Monday around 11:30 a.m. at Johnnie Cochran Vista School.
According to the LAFD, the incident involves at least three children. Their age and current state of health were not specified.
The minors were found “at a school with an altered level of consciousness after possible exposure to or ingestion of an unknown substance,” the LAFD reported.
So far, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has not publicly commented on the incident.
