We knew these were key days for “Re: zero“for simple reasons: it had already been a few years since the end of season 2 and an insider predicted that season 3 was already in production. Obviously, things like the latter only prove their weight in gold when officially confirmed… and that’s exactly what happened at AnimeJapan 2023. Because indeed, Season 3 of the anime “Re:Zero” is already a reality announced in style.

And before commenting a bit on the announcement of the return of the anime “Re:Zero”, I leave you with the trailer that was shared:
Seen the trailer, now yeah I tell you a series of things What seems important to me:
- To begin with, it must be taken into account that It has NOT been confirmed when Re:Zero Season 3 will air.. In other words, at the moment we only have official confirmation that it is in production.
- Given the absence of such data, personally I see two possibilities for the premiere: that it debuts at the earliest in the fall of this same 2023, or that to return to the anime, we have to wait until 2024.
- Is there enough Re:Zero light novel material to make an announcement such as Season 3? Well yes, too much. To give you a general picture: so far the anime has adapted 15 out of the 33 volumes available, i.e. even half of the story hasn’t been covered in the anime so far (and it continues to extend).
Indeed, many aspects may still be up in the air regarding the “Re:Zero” anime season 3… but much better than meets the eye, have the minimum certainty that there is more anime in production. The truth is at this point hard to say when we should expect more detailsbut I wouldn’t be surprised if you had to put a few months in between already.
