Residents of the Pueblo de Vera condominium in Hialeah continue to be outraged by the association.
A few weeks ago, payments were imposed on them, due to a repair that the roof needs.
“We gathered here to deny Juan Gómez,” says one of the neighbors.
She refers to an interview that Gómez offered in front of our cameras.
In January, the load was almost a thousand dollars, in February it is 2000, in March and April – about 400. A total of 4 thousand 687 in four months.
This complex has 144 apartments spread over 3 buildings.
“We are here to change the board,” they say.
At the time, Juan Gómez, director of the association, showed Telemundo 51 the state of the roofs of the El Pueblo de Vera complex.
“The water stagnates and as it deteriorates it filters and reaches the room,” he said.
Meanwhile, how to pay for it remains a mystery to many.
