The Resident Evil series has been with us for decades. Published for the first time in 1996, it will soon celebrate its 30th anniversary. There are a lot of stories, both in and out of your games, and it gets quite convoluted, so on the occasion of the release of Resident Evil 4 RemakeLet’s clear up a few things!
With this latest game in the Resident Evil saga, even though it is a remake, Capcom demonstrates that it is still living a golden age, and it has demonstrated this with its critical and commercial success, having sold over 3 million units in the first 2 days of release. .
After the remakes of “Resident Evil 2” and “Resident Evil 3”, the developer has shown that it knows how to perfectly recreate, refine and pamper the star franchise of its catalog, and especially with a game that was already a game of its time. . . Did that mean it needed to be retouched? Maybe not, but this exceptional result shows a total experience where action and exploration are much more pleasant, with this first hour which marks so much the adventure until the rest of the game.
A terrible and dirty atmosphere, with a lot of action due to the large amount of enemies that constantly overwhelm you, and all exalted by a series of improvements in the visual section that will not let you breathe due to the magnificent lighting and other effects that will enter through your eyes and touch your heart.
Even one of the points that fans might call “weak” in the title was the story behind Leon S. Kennedy and the reasons that force him into such a storyline. The script remains faithful to the original, but there is an improved narration that emphasizes the deepening of certain aspects of the plot, which is very welcome for fans who have wondered about new points. This is possible thanks to the incorporation of new video sequences and dialogues.
