During last night’s Capcom Spotlight, several exciting announcements were made such as the exoprimal release date oh the arrival of the sun (Monster Hunter Rise expansion) on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. However, no news was as important as the confirmation that the long-awaited Resident Evil 4 Remake demo it was already available for free download via PS Store, Microsoft Store and Steam.
As per usual, ElAnalistaDeBits (a user specializing in comparisons between versions of the same video game) made a video dedicated to this demo in which analyzes the graphics section of Resident Evil 4 Remake on all Sony consoles. We now know how this title works on PS5, PS4 Pro and PS4. Does the game run well on old-gen? Let’s see.
Resident Evil 4 Remake graphics being overhauled
- The PlayStation 5 version stands out as the best of all presenting several advantages such as five times faster loading times, compatibility with VRR, Ray Tracing and various improvements on shadows, lighting, textures, etc.
- The strangest thing is that it presents an option that theoretically improves character and animal hair physicsbut it does exactly the opposite by not integrating itself correctly into the lighting of certain places; Bits Analyst does NOT recommend enabling it for now
