The latest Nintendo Direct had a few surprises that raised a lot of expectations within the community. Of all the unexpected announcements, I don’t think any could eclipse that of Professor Layton and the new world of Steam (yes, that will be his name in Spain), but unfortunately the company hasn’t released much information about the plot or news of this episode.
Fortunately, that changed this morning during the LEVEL-5 Vision 2023 Tsuzumia special in which the Japanese studio shared updates on your most anticipated projectsincluding DECAPOLICE, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road and, of course, the new professor layton.
New details on Layton and Luke’s next adventure
- During this event, a first official trailer of the video game in which yes Aparece Luke and in which they were included story details what will tell
- Apparently Professor Layton and the New Steaming World It will take place one year after the events of The Lost Future.
- This episode of the saga will take place in a town called Steam bisonsituated in America
- This city is the most technologically advanced in the world, even more than London
- And one of the great novelties at the playable level will reside in the map itself, since scenarios will change as players solve puzzles
- It is also predicted in the trailer that Luke will become known as “Luke Detective”
When will the game be released, will it arrive in Spain?
I have bad news and good news. The bad news is that always no known exit window for Professor Layton and the New World on Steam, it’s not even known whether or not it will be coming to Nintendo Switch this year. However, we already have confirmation that will go on sale in Spainand that means that LEVEL-5 will resume once and for all the international distribution of its works.
