Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was allegedly hit by a train in Aventura on Tuesday morning.
Aventura Police said the incident happened around 9:30 a.m. near the intersection of the 19400 block of Biscayne Boulevard in the northeast, not far from the Aventura Brightline station.
Footage from the scene showed a body covered in a yellow tarp near the tracks and a stopped Brightline train.
Police did not confirm the man had been hit, but said they had opened an investigation into the incident in which a man was allegedly hit by a train.
Traffic was disrupted in the area for a few hours this morning.
