Rosalía, Rossy de Palma, Harry Styles, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus or Madonna are some of the national and international stars who have been able to wear Palomo Spain in recent years: the name of a designer who surpasses himself year after year, going further and further in the world of fashion while placing the Spanish industry at the top.

Fame precedes this Cordovan designer, especially in fashion circles, even if a significant part of the general public got to know her figure thanks to her role as a judge in the reality show sewing masterswhere he shared a facet with María Escoté and Lorenzo Caprile.

On the night of this Wednesday, February 22, however, Alejandro Gómez Palomo (the man behind the stage name) showed his most human side with the broadcast of his adventure on Planeta Calleja, traveling to Finnish Lapland with his father to experience everything from a toboggan run to a swim in a frozen lake. All this in the company of Jesús Calleja, who did not hesitate to continue his facet of interviewer in temperatures of 20 degrees below zero.

The presenter admitted during the adventure the prejudices he had towards Palomo before meeting him, “you gave me a glove without hands» and applauded the dedication with which he had given himself for this trip: « I must say that he does everything you tell him. I like it because it adds value and courage. Plus, not only does it do it, but it stings and it’s the attitude. That’s why he’s doing very well, because he lacks nothing.”

A program in which, as we mentioned, Palomo showed his most human and humble side. At 31, despite one of his finest professional moments, He continues to maintain his studio in Posadas (Córdoba), preferring countryside views to the concrete jungle of the Spanish capital.

Palomo Spain did not want to end the program without thanking them for having the opportunity to have lived the experience, letting the world know their most personal facet, acknowledging that their stage in the reality show, their character and the need for a spectacle generated a very distorted image of their reality as a designer: “People who know me know perfectly well how I am. What happens is that I spent five years in a television show in which I had a role and a weight… Every day you go out on horseback in heels, with twenty thousand necklaces and you keep the image. With this idea of a diva and a superb designer that in reality I am not“.

The Cordovan designer seems to have definitely removed a thorn from above. Sewing and singing, everything is just beginning, but real life, of course, seems more complicated.
