The anime of “Oshi no Ko“It had one of the most anticipated premieres of all this 2023, among other things because it was the new work by the same author of”Kaguya-sama: Love is war“. Not only that, but behind the anime was the studio Doga Kobo, a real specialist in the field of slices of life through which this work will most often pass. And in fact, the premiere was so high that right now it’s the most loved anime in history.

And on this stage, you better keep the following things in mind:
- It’s “usual” that when a HIGHLY anticipated anime has a remarkable/outstanding premiere, it ends up being at the top of MyAnimeList. More recurringly, this happened with Shingeki no Kyojin, which as you can see right now has its first part of the ending in third position.
- Most likely, over days and especially weeks, the Oshi no Ko score will regulate itself. At the end aired only one first episode and a rating of 9.38 is an extremely difficult rating to hold.
- Despite what I say, what also seems obvious to me is that Oshi no Ko anime will remain among the highest rated on the entire MyAnimeList platform. Ultimately, we’re talking about an anime that has already shown to have a very strong fan base, and with such a high “floor” it’s very easy to sustain the first season, at least among the top 5 rated anime of all time.
