Tragedy in the world of motocross. the big promise Brayden Erbacher died in an accident during the ProMX motocross championship in Australia, his native country.

Erbacher, only 20 years old, suffered a wild fall, head banging. The emergency services took care of him on the spot, but could only confirm his death. The competition was immediately suspended by the organization.

His family released a statement thanking the shows of support: “The Erbacher family would like to thank everyone at Racesafe, the doctors, first responders, riders and families who have supported us. We are very proud of our son Brayden and we will be always grateful to have him in our lives. He is our hero and we will always miss him.”

The competition also fired the driver: “Brayden’s death has touched us all deeply. Our sport is brilliant, but sometimes so cruel”.

Brayden was one of the great promises of motocross in Australia. He was competing for the second year in MX2one of the races that make up the championship.

The organization opened a investigation on what happened during the test, where the 20-year-old lost his life when he hit his head on the ground in a fall.
