A Missouri woman was accused of killing her boyfriend with a sword on Christmas Eve.
Brittany Wilson, 32, was found in bloody clothing Friday night outside the home she shared with her boyfriend, and a sword was on the front lawn, Cape Girardeau police said. This city is located in southeastern Missouri, about 115 miles (185 kilometers) south of St. Louis.
KFVS television reported that a woman had called the police shortly after 11pm on Friday to report that she had killed her boyfriend with a sword.
After arresting Wilson, officers entered the home and found her boyfriend, Harrison Stephen Foster, 34, dead with several recent stab wounds.
Wilson told police that she and Foster had used methamphetamine hours earlier. She also told investigators that she believed her boyfriend had various entities living in his body and that she was freeing him by burying the gun.
The woman was in custody on Sunday. A bond of two million dollars was set and she was charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action. It is unknown if he has a lawyer.
