“What do you want to do?”, with this question and verse from My daughter it’s like Maikel Delacalle and Quevedo could have teamed up to, first, play together at the last concert on March 11 in Gran Canaria; and, second, to officially collaborate on the remix of the aforementioned theme.

The Tenerife man and patron of LOS40 Urban posted a carousel of photographs and videos on social media with his fellow Canarian, among other artists, such as Juseph, Omar Montes and Ovy On The Drums. In the first image, you can clearly read ‘Maikel Delacalle x Quevedo’, followed by several clips of the Gran Canaria Arena and its surroundings.

Delacalle attended the first concert of the tour DQE sing a new version of her 2016 song of which we have already spoken in the first lines. Thousands of fans captured his performance, filling TikTok with videos of their magical moment.

“Baby I like you when I see you in a short skirt, it shows you’re one of— He saw me dressed in Lacoste and gave me a wink but on purpose. That little ass n priceless, I always wanted to be with a rockstar”would be some of the new verses in the remix.

Along with the description—which reads “11.03.23 part 2—in one of the videos he uploaded to Instagram, Quevedo can be seen saying a keyword: “Marso”. From then on, their collaboration is about to fall.

This news comes just seven months after our colleague and broadcaster Ramsés López revealed to Maikel that many international artists (and fans) have repeatedly told him in interviews that they would like to hear a feat between these two urban artists, representatives of two generations of the very fertile Canarian movement that we have been witnessing for almost a decade now. And we are finally counting the days to hear this studio version of Mi Nena Remix!
