Now that we’re fully into April, I’m sure many of you can’t wait to give a blast to many of the video games coming out in the weeks to come. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Honkai: Star Rail, Minecraft Legends, Advance Wars… All these titles look barbaric, but that’s not why they should be left out Burning Shores, the expansion of Horizon Forbidden West.

As with Horizon Zero Dawn, Aloy’s adventures will be further expanded through a new mini-campaign set in the uncharted territory of the Forbidden West map. In this DLC, users will travel to the scorching shores of old Hollywood, and there we will be able to get to know one of the most important tribes in the game a little better.

New trailer and more Burning Shores details

  • The Dutch developer boasts of graphics in a trailer that focuses on showing us the impressive settlement of the Quen tribe
  • This faction of sailors come from beyond the Pacific Ocean and have deep technological knowledge (thanks to the use of Spotlights), so in this expansion we will be able to see “how they live”
  • Also in the PlayStation Blog other interesting facts are revealed such as the Quen of the Burning Shores are ruled by the Admiral Gerrit What Aloy’s new big mate will be a Marine named Seyka.

An exclusive expansion for PS5

Guerrilla announced a few months ago that burning shoresthe long-awaited expansion of Horizon Forbidden West, will be exclusive to PlayStation 5. Indeed, the studio wanted to take advantage of the features of Sony’s latest console to achieve technical ingenuity impossible to recreate on PS4, such as aerial exploration through photorealistic skies.
