When does Succession end?
season 4 of Succession What will the end of the series mean? airs March 27 on HBO Max. It was confirmed Jesse Armstrongcreator and showrunner of the series in an interview for the New Yorker:
“The ending has always been on my mind. Ever since Season 2, I’ve been trying to think: Is this next, or is this next, or is this next? I met some of my fellow writers before I started writing season four, around November, December 2021, and I said, ‘Listen, I think this should be it. But what do you think?’ And we imagine different scenarios: we could do a few short seasons or two more seasons. Or we could go on for years and turn the show into something entirely different, and be a fun, larger, carefree show where there would be good weeks and bad weeks. Or we could do something a little more powerful and comprehensive and come out strong. And that was definitely always my preference”.
In the coming season, the sale of the family business Waystar Royco a Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgard) is about to close. This possibility causes division among the members of the Roy family, as they imagine what their lives will be like once the sale is made. A battle for power and control of the business ensues as the family believes their inheritance may be diminished.
