Tax return assistance
Assemblyman Anthony Rendon’s office is hosting a Free Tax Help Day in Lynwood this Saturday.
The event will take place at the Eastmont Community Center, where experts will help taxpayers with their tax returns. The event will be open to all residents of Los Angeles County, regardless of legal status.
The only requirement to qualify for this free assistance is that your salary be less than $60,000.
Here are some tips to keep in mind this tax season.
Information is also provided on tax credits, such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), which can save taxpayers over $10,000.
People who need to renew or obtain their Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) can do so during this day.
