While leaks continue on future maps of the current eventFIFA 23 Ultimate Team TOTW 19 has arrived. A disappointing team of the week from my perspective, since most of his cards don’t seem useful for level eleven.
Mohamed Salah and Antoine Griezmann are the players with the highest average in the squad. While the featured IFs are for Yannick Gerhardt (German Bundesliga MC) and Reiss Nelson (English Premier League right-winger).
FIFA 23 TOTW 19 (Team of the Week)
Salah received his third In Form of the season. He continues to slack off in the stars, barely combining four skills with three bad legs. Although his own body type works well in Ultimate Team and he is an attacker with very complete stats. He’s probably one of the players with the best numbers in FIFA 23, so he could perform very well as a winger despite missing his right foot.
And just like the Egyptian footballer, Antoine Griezmann TIF also loosens up in the stars. He only has four skills and three on a bad leg, so he’ll be more predictable than the other alternatives in the area. And to this lack we add that his pace is not great either, he has 86 accelerations and 87 sprints.
His shooting, passing and dribbling numbers are quite good for the current era of FIFA 23. But since he won’t be too threatening with his right foot nor will he be too dangerous from long distances, I don’t think that’s the most recommendable attacker profile. His weaknesses will wreak havoc both against closed defenses and when he has to run at top speed.
Reiss Nelson and Yannick Gerhardt are the featured IFs of TOTW 19. Arsenal’s England winger convinces with most shooting attributes, passing isn’t bad either and plenty of dribbling is quite good. However, does not exceed 66 in strength and combines only four skill stars with three bad leg stars. So we have more interesting affordable alternatives in the Premier League.
While Gerhardt IF could well be a destructive midfielder who meets the ball. Although he will only have chemistry as an MC. But his defensive numbers are good, he has 86 strength, 1’84 and 83 pace, that’s pretty good. He also surprises with his 90 vision, although I wish his work rate wasn’t average/average. And with the ball, he will be limited by the three stars of skill and bad leg.
In the rest of the TOTW 19 IF we didn’t find many decent players for this time of FIFA 23. Although at least Dodô (who already received a Rulebreakers months ago) could be valid for the cheap teams of Serie A and Brazil. To be a fast right-back, with 84 interceptions and very good passing and dribbling numbers.
