The manga of “Dragon Ball Super” enters a new stage this month, although more than ‘new’ it is one that is already well known to fans of the franchise: “Dragon Ball Super: Super heroes“. The truth is that with an eye on the release of chapter 91 of the manga next March 19, we have already had some first official images of what we will see… but now more. Indeed, as always Insiders moved ahead of the post to drop us a series of preview images from the chapter..

And now a series of comments that seem necessary to me after seeing the images:
- Basically, chapter 91 of the manga shows us how at the beginning of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, in which we can see the Red Ribbon Army recruiting Dr. Hedo, in fact Krillin was present to listen to all the conversation between the two parties.. After all, Hedo and the Red Ribbon Army had been under police surveillance for quite some time, so this isn’t a surprising reveal as such.
- What is surprising is that Hachimura, the robot bee created by Hedo, is more powerful than Krillin. During these early panels, we see how the aforementioned robot takes on the most powerful human being on Earth at this point… and ends up winning. It doesn’t really speak very positively about how things are going power-wise on Earth.
- Beyond that, insiders have pointed out that from this point on, the rest of the chapter plays out just like in the movie. Apparently the end of this first chapter comes with the first confrontation between Piccolo and Gamma 2 (around the first 19 minutes of the film).
Considering that even with the extra pages of Krillin’s presence at the start of “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” we’ve already covered 20 minutes of film, I would be surprised if this arc in the manga is longer than 5-6 chapters. With that in mind, I see a possibility that we’ll tie into the Black Frieza arc before the end of the year, which would be perfect for dropping a power bomb in a highly anticipated Chapter 100 during JUMP Festa 2023.
