With virtual reality we can achieve such brutal things as creating our own retro room
I’m sick of the retro, 80s generation, what do you want me to tell you and if you’re as old as me, you’re going to freak through the pipes with what’s next. And that’s it, I just found out and I’m gonna tell you now, with VR you can recreate your own 80s, 90s retro bedroom as you really want and the result is amazing.
The news came to me bounced from Twitter thanks to @Uxio but, investigating a little deeper, I will leave you a video of the channel of Youtube of Shake 4 where you can see in much more detail all the fancy things that can be achieved with certain VR and a little patience. The truth is I keep freaking out endlessly and now I need to VR and they just came out PS-VR2…
Create your own retro room in VR
- We can create our own VR room with the software EmuVR
- In the video we can see that it was made with some Oculus Quest 2
- Can be placed Emulators from almost all retro platforms
- As you should always have the original software and only use backup copies, don’t be mean to me
- Can be emulated and played nes, SNES, N64, PS1,PS2, game cube and much more
- Videos can be emulated VHS and the result is brutal
- We can place a poster and decorate the room as we want
- I keep freaking out really hard
- OJO Only works on: Oculus Rift, Oculus Link (Quest with PCVR), Valve Index, HTC Vive, WMR and your 2D monitor
- Does not work on: PSVR or any mobile VR including Oculus Quest (no PCVR), Oculus Go, Gear VR or Cardboard
Now I need VR
Well I need VR to be able to test this pod which looks amazing. Do you have the RV? have you tried this EmuVR Or will you try? How would Johnny 5… “Data, I want data… I need data!” Let us know if you’ve tried it and what your experience is.
