MIAMI.- After a calm morning, this Easter Sunday turned into a rainy afternoon that triggered a flood advisory for part of Broward County.
Flood advisory is at 7:30 p.m., including effects for Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, Davie, Plantation, Sunrise, Deerfield Beach, Tamarac, Margate, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea , Lauderhill, Coconut Creek, Oakland Park, North Lauderdale, Lauderdale Lakes, Dania Beach, Cooper City and Wilton Manors.
According to the National Weather Service, minor flooding is possible in low-lying, poorly drained areas.
The showers, although they will not be at the same time, can arrive with a few thunderstorms, giving way to a hot and humid afternoon with highs reaching 80 degrees this Easter Sunday.
The temperature pattern looks more volatile next week, so keep an umbrella handy that you might need for the wet weather ahead.
In the middle of next week, there will also be maximum temperatures that will remain in numbers above 70 degrees.
