The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early Sunday morning car accident that left one person dead in Tamarac, authorities said.
At approximately 3:37 a.m., authorities received a call reporting a personal injury accident near West Commercial Boulevard and Woodlands Boulevard in Tamarac.
Officers from the Broward Sheriff’s Office and the Tamarac Fire Department responded to the scene where they found a vehicle collided with a truck.
At the scene, the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead. At this time, the police have not released any additional information, so the victim’s identity is unknown and the truck driver is known to have remained at the scene.
