If the sequel to Breath of the Wild is a highly anticipated title, it is still a rather mysterious title.
Intended to be marketed in less than three months, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom is expected to include post-launch content.
Zelda Tears of The Kingdom: is there already a DLC in preparation?
A few weeks ago, Nintendo offered a new Direct highlighting various titles, but also and above all Link’s next adventures. If these should take up many of the foundations of previous work, we should also be able to enjoy several new gameplay features.
Also, while Big N has yet to confirm any DLC in the months following the game’s release, there’s no doubt that it’s well planned. Besides, the game’s official page in the Nintendo Eshop itself seems to indicate this with the statement “Full version of the game is required to use the DLC. Sold separately”.
Obviously, no details about its possible extensions are mentioned, but that’s not surprising given the franchise’s past. Indeed, Breath of The Wild was entitled to its traditional paid expansion pass with lots of new content and other navigation and combat based stuff.
As a reminder, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom should be released on May 12, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Among the novelties that we glimpse in the latest trailer, the player should be able to Drive land and air vehicles, use new abilities and fight with new weapons.
