At Game Developers Conference 2023, Xbox shared updates on the ID@Xbox program and announced the ID@Xbox Developer Accelerator Program.
- GDC 2023: look back at 10 years of ID@Xbox
- ID@Xbox paid over $4 billion freelance developers since the program’s inception in 2013.
- More than 3000 titles are in active development by independent developers on Xbox.
- More than 5000 developers from 100 countries are currently participating in the ID@Xbox program.
- More than 700 creators enrolled in the ID@Xbox program within the last year (February 2022 – February 2023).
- Introduce the ID@Xbox Developer Accelerator Program
- Xbox announced the ID@Xbox Developer Accelerator Program to give underrepresented creators the resources and information they need to reach more people and bring their games to Xbox.
- The team has allocated funds for the program and has so far helped 100 startup and indie developers bring their games to Xbox.
