It’s not so long ago that World of Warcraft: Shadowlands improved six of its classes and made some serious changes to the dungeons and raids. The community was very impressed by both.
Now Blizzard is following up again and distributing more dungeons nerfs and class buffs with the weekly server restart, which should make your WoW life easier. This time, however, the enthusiasm is limited.

After the class buffs: who will deal more damage?
According to the plan, the damage of all offensive abilities is simply increased slightly. The developer explains, however, that the values now announced may change again until the update is released. However, you can currently expect the following changes:
- Death Knight (Frost): All damage abilities are increased by five percent. In contrast, the damage of the PvP talent Chain Supercooling is reduced by ten percent.
- Demon Hunter (Desolation): All damage abilities are increased by three percent.
- Hunter (Animal Mastery): All damage abilities are increased by five percent.
- Hunter (survival): All damage abilities are increased by five percent.
- Mage (Frost): All damage abilities are increased by three percent.
- Paladin (all): The aura of shadow resistance persists beyond death
- Villain (assassination): All damage abilities are increased by five percent.
- Shaman (reinforcement): All damage abilities are increased by three percent.
- Warlock (Destruction): All damage abilities are increased by five percent.
- Warriors (weapons): All damage abilities are increased by three percent.
- Krieger (Furor): All damage abilities are increased by 3 percent.
- Warriors (all): In addition, the Supreme Commander PvP talent reduces the cooldown of Inciting Scream to 60 seconds.
When will the changes come? As Blizzard explains in the official forum, the aforementioned adjustments will go live with the weekly server restart on February 3, 2021.
This is what the community says about the changes: Many players in the official WoW forum as well as on wowhead express incomprehension about the adjustments. For many, it seems as if Blizzard is simply going to full blown fire and generally increasing the damage a little instead of dealing with the individual specializations.
The class specialists at wowhead also find the changes to be of little help in their analysis because the increased damage is either still too low or the problem is elsewhere.
After the dungeon nerfs: which dungeons have been toned down?
On the other hand, while many classes were being buffed, the dungeons were further weakened. The reason for this will be the high level of difficulty in the mythical plus area. Here are the changes in the overview:
This time, too, the dungeon the Necrotic Lane gets a lot of simplifications. You can see the dungeon in our screenshot gallery here:

This is what the community says: Opinions are very divided here. Because some are happy about the adjustments for tyrannical to mythic-plus, while others complain that WoW is getting too easy.
