Team Ninja has been extremely busy updating Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty since it hit Xbox Game Pass in early March, and now another new update has been released today.
There’s a lot going on in these patch notes, including lots of new quality of life features, lots of important bug fixes, and a whole host of changes. You must appreciate the effort Team Ninja put in here!

Additional Features
- Added settings to automatically change target locks on successful deflection or deflection in response to critical hits. Note: Players can enable these options in Game Settings by selecting Change Fixed Target After Deflected and Change Fixed Target After Critical Hit Deflected.
- Added settings option to change target lock to nearest enemy by pressing the right stick. Note: Players can enable this option in Game Settings by selecting Change Lock Target to Nearest Enemy.
- Added options to set fixed camera rotation and tracking speed. Note: These options have been added to the Fixed Camera page in Camera Settings.
- Added option to enable/disable inertial movement when rotating the camera. Note: This option has been added to the standard camera page in the camera settings.
- Changed the Reinforcements menu to show warriors who have sworn to the player but are currently not available as companions. It also became possible to give friendship cups.
- Added an option for players to split from teammates by selecting a current teammate from the Reinforcements menu instead of using a willow branch.
- Changes have been made so that the sort order of the following menus is saved:
- Equipment, inventory, status, magic spell set, combat set and all menus available in the blacksmith
- Added an interface for players to compare teams in the Team menu. Note: Further expansions to the comparison interface, such as support for the list of set bonuses and the Status menu, are planned for future patches.
- Changes made to the Team menu so that players can now check and select the team set to Favorites.
- Made changes to the Journey menu that will allow players to check their progress in collecting Shitieshou, Golden Cicada Shells, Tablets, Dragonvein Essence, and Dragonvein Crystals via icons.
- Added checkmark icons to completed missions in the Voyages menu.
- Changed some command layouts and callouts to make it easier to distinguish between the Inventory and Storage menus in the Blacksmith.
- Added a dedicated icon that displays when auto-replenishing arrows, projectiles, and consumables.
- Added warnings to notify players when their team’s weight ratio exceeds 100%.
Settings
- Made the following adjustments to drop rates:
- Increased the rate of obtaining very rare items after defeating bosses in the main battlegrounds.
- Increased the drop rate of very rare items after defeating battlefield sub-bosses in duels.
- Increased the rate of obtaining very rare items after defeating other players in raid sessions.
- Made adjustments so that items in treasure chests containing equipment drop random loot (only when opened a second time). higher rarities.
- Made adjustments so that items with higher rarities are more likely to drop after the player defeats enemies with morale ranks higher than the player’s current morale rank.
- Adjusted fixed targeting criteria to avoid prioritizing enemies farther from the player, even when other enemies are nearby.
- Improved situations where the game would occasionally crash when auto-switching to a new fixed target after the player defeats an enemy.
- Changed the command interaction for grave flags with the ↓ or ↓ arrow key on the d-pad.
- We’ve made some difficulty level adjustments for the battle against Zhang Liang in the Main Battleground “City of Calamity”, including the following:
- Decreased the maximum HP of his first form.
- Adjusted each damage type.
- AI adjustment
- Adjusted camera movement during airstrikes.
- Added a tutorial to the battle against Zhang Liang in the “Village of Calamity” main battleground.
- Made adjustments so that Divine Beast attacks are affected by the player’s morale range.
- Adjusted the amount of damage dealt by each divine beast, taking into account the effect of the player’s morale range.
- Extended invincibility duration after landing fatal blows or deflecting in response to critical hits, as invincibility effects wore off before players regained control.
- Made changes to Photo Mode so that the direction of camera movement and rotation is now based on the player’s view when tilting the camera.
- Made changes so that Revenge does not get overwritten when players are defeated by the Revenge target and waiting for help during multiplayer sessions. enemy.

- Fixed crash prone situations occurring in certain environments.

- Fixed a bug that allowed items to be exchanged with a Shitieshou each time the game was restarted from certain battle flags in the “Realm Heirloom Seal” secondary battlefield.
- Fixed a bug in the “Thunder God Legend” secondary battlefield where the rate of obtaining items after defeating the boss was equal to the rate of minor enemies.
- Fixed a bug that sometimes caused Hong Jing to get stuck on the ground after attacking her with the Antelope Horn martial arts technique in the “Scarlet Crystal” sub-battleground.
- Fixed a bug where the sum of FX values displayed per rank was sometimes displayed incorrectly. Note: There is no change in the actual values of each special effect.
- Fixed a bug where the Ammo Held Max special effect was not taken into account when moving shells between inventory and storage.
- Fixed a bug where the list of new items was not prioritizing items that had been purchased previously, but ran out and then repurchased.
- Fixed a bug that caused the player character to die if they removed gear that had the HP special effect when they were about to die.
- Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented invader players from directly performing fatal blows after using the Dawning Sky and Skyward Evergreen martial arts techniques, depending on the character’s height.
- Fixed a bug that occurred during 3-player multiplayer draft sessions where time left to help remaining players was not displayed if the player with a newer player number was dead.
