Ben isn’t the only one who thinks Willow’s series is worth watching, as many are asking for more after the first season wrapped in January. In fact, even Christian Slater wanted to return for a second season, but apparently that’s not going to happen.
As reported by Deadline, Disney would have decided cancel Willow after the first season, so there will be no seconds on Disney +, except official communication. One of the main reasons for this is probably that the show apparently didn’t get enough viewers judging by its cultural impact and never made it into the Nielsen top 10 streaming services. It’s not exactly a good thing when Disney+ started losing subscribers.
