First appearing as Redeploy Balloons in the original Warzone, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 resurrects the classic transport device in the form of Redeploy Drones. These serve the exact same function as the previous one, allowing players to take flight again and use their parachute to travel to distant points of interest. However, the new drones have new features that Battle Royale players should be aware of. Here’s how to find Redeploy Drones in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.

How to find Redeploy Drones in Warzone 2.0 Resurgence mode

First, it’s important to note that Redeploy Drones are currently exclusive to Warzone 2.0’s Resurgence mode, as classic Battle Royale modes don’t carry the devices yet. As shown below, you can locate redeploy drones through your tactical map, as their locations are indicated by purple drone icons. Once on the drone, players can climb its hanging rope by pressing its respective reload button.

At the start of each match, players will see that they move close to all points of interest, but they won’t stay there forever. Unlike Redeploy Balloons in previous games, drones will move to the current storm circle or simply disappear from the map. However, once the final circle begins to take shape, all existing drones will fly slowly, so be sure to grab a fast one at that time.

More importantly, enemies can be easily eliminated once they connect to a redeployed drone. This is because killstreaks like Mortar Strike and Precision Airstrike can block and destroy the device, ultimately causing any player in your chain massive fall damage. If you’re looking for this type of killstreak, it’s best to find and spend Sea Treasure Tokens on one of the Sea Treasure machines on the map.
