How to Farm Brittle Bone Fragments in Genshin Impact
The only way to get Brittle Bone Fragments is to collect loot after defeating Vishaps. They are dragon-like monsters that can be found in the Liyue region and the underwater kingdom of Enkanomiya in Inazuma. They come in Geo and Hydro variants, respectively, and with different types of monsters, including an Elite mini-boss version.
Where to Farm Brittle Bone Fragments in Liyue
Liyue has several good places to grow Vishaps. In this region, they come in a Geo variety, making them tough physical opponents with strong shields. They come in three variations:
- Newborn Geovishap
- Geovispa
- First Geovishap

The best groups of Geovishaps are found north of Mount AocangIn Tianqiu ValleyIn nationalityand around the north Mount Tianheng. You can also face the boss Primo Geovishap (marked with an arrow) if you think your party is strong enough.
Where to farm Brittle Bone Fragments in Enkanomiya
The underwater kingdom of Enkanomiya is home to no less than three elemental forms of Vishaps, Hydro, Cryo, and Electro. For this reason, it’s a good idea to bring a strong Pyro DPS to benefit from the elemental reactions they can inflict on them. Be careful not to over-commit yourself though, as with these items they can turn the fight around if they manage to pounce on you. Collectively called Bathysmal Vishaps, all Enkanomiya monster types include:

Vishaps are very well clustered in the region, so you can farm them north of the straitto the west in the entrails of the serpentin this midnight templeand to the south in snake heart.
