Almost every Souls game made by FromSoftware lets you buy boss armor and gear – the gear that those terrors used against you that you can now use against more enemies. It wasn’t always clear how to get boss armor, but in Elden Ring the process is simple, easily accessible, and available wherever you are in the game.

To buy boss armor sets in Elden Ring, go to Finger Reader Enia in the round table. You will need to have obtained at least one Great Rune and have spoken with Two Fingers. You’ll likely visit him after defeating Godrick, but any boss that rewards you with a large rune will do. The previous set of locked doors at the back of the round table will open and you can talk to both of them, for example, you don’t throw anything away.

Initially, Enia will not sell boss armor, but after defeating Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, a new option will appear in Enia’s vendor menu: “Receive Champion Gear”.

Opening this new menu will allow you to purchase armor from any boss that allows it. Renalla, Radahn, Malenia, and many more will eventually find their way to Enia’s boss armor shop. Please note that not all bosses with keepsakes will have armor sets available. It would be insane for people like Rykard or even Godrick to have armor that a normal human could wear. However, non-Remembrance bosses like Elemer of the Briar and Commander Niall provide their sets.

Boss armor is also expensive, commensurate with its size and high stats. They come in four-piece sets and, depending on the source of the armor, can cost anywhere from a few thousand runes for Renalla’s set to nearly 100,000 for Malenia or Godfrey. You can wear boss armor regardless of your character’s gender, and the appearance will change little, although some types may suit one body type better than another. At the end of the day, whatever your version of Fashion Souls is for you is the most important thing.
