Ia Rising continues its course, and it becomes more and more interesting. If after finishing the second day we had two teams in mind, now it’s only one. UCAM is the only group that hasn’t lost a match in the competition, as Team Queso couldn’t beat the Riders.

AYM didn’t get their first victory, even though it was close against ZETA, and the Rebels go a bit out of the hole after beating the Falcons with superiority. Let’s see a summary of everything that happened on the third day of the VCL Rising.

Summary day 3 of the Rising

The first game of the afternoon was the ZETA vs. AYM. The Sikako team fought well on the Ascension, but can’t get up. He finally ended up narrowly descending, with very tight sleeves.

The first team finished 6-6 and AYM was 10-7, but could not finish. Maos defense was better, and a Maniek, who is already finishing his Battle of Sage, managed to lead ZETA to victory 11-13.

Around 6 p.m., CASE managed to overtake Ramboot. The robots went down to Casemiro’s men with a 10-13 result, also closer than you might expect. Already in defense, Miniboo overtook the robots, but in attack, he managed to give them the last straw.

The first team ended with a 7-5 result for Juankar’s men, and although Ramboot came close again, the defending champions secured their second victory of the season with a 13-10which puts them in a tie for second place.

The third game of the afternoon was the one against UCAM Tokiers, a team that arrived undefeated, with KPIs, one of the revelations of the spring split. The university students managed to stay without losing, after a game that was more even than they would have liked, which reached extra time.

B1sk did their thing again in the duelist position, and both teams shared sides in defense. It was 7-5 first for UCAM, then 5-7 for KPI. However, after the first 24 rounds, UCAM, with a fantastic YuNo, took overtime and made it 3-0 on aggregate.

And the surprise of the afternoon arrived at 8:00 p.m. Movistar runners, one of the bottom teams in the Spring Split, came to fight. With 1-1 on their scoreboard, but third in the standings, against a Queso team that hadn’t lost, and they knocked them down.

Saiko, the Riders’ duelist, arrived ready to show his level. They started very strong in attack, with a 6-0 lead, but in the end the team finished tighter, although they were still ahead 7-5. Finally, the game ended with a clean 13-9 for the Riders, after a very good defense from the Riders.

And finally, yesterday we experienced the first victory of the Rebels in this split. Madrid had yet to achieve good results this summer season, and they beat very weak Falcons in Haven. Despite the Falcons’ best efforts, their defense could not stop the Rebel attack.

The game started with the Rebels leading the defense and with a 7-5 change of sides. Haven’s defense could be the answer for the Falcons, and they took the gun, making the game 7-6. However, PapaSmurf’s didn’t slow down, and with six rounds in a row, they closed 13-6.
