Valve’s long-running series of team-based shooters counter attack will receive a new entry this year in the summer of 2023 titled counterattack 2. This one is a bit different as it will be a “free upgrade” for counter strike offensive global the owners
At the moment, PC is the only platform the game has been confirmed for, but Counter-Strike games have been available on Xbox since the original generation, so there’s always a chance of a console release. CS:GO is also still available on Xbox Marketplace.

Counter-Strike 2 is described as the greatest technical advancement in the history of the series, with revised and updated maps, new lighting, “high definition” visual effects, improved sound, and more.
So far, Valve has released three videos covering the new Smoke Grenades, going beyond the tick rate and detailing the map improvements. On PC, a “limited trial” is also underway, but it’s invite-only and based on certain player requirements.
