While this series of Valorant patch notes is relatively sparse, the biggest change is the FPS game’s new mascot, Wingman, the lovable slimy bird-like creature that’s been wreaking havoc since the release of Gekko.

While there aren’t many changes in patch 6.06, the main ones have affected Gekko’s little brother, Mosh, and his spike-planting, mayhem-causing companion Wingman.

Mosh damage to objects has been reduced from 2.5 to 1 to bring it more in line with the KAY/O robotic launcher, as well as the infamous Breach Aftershock.

Wingman, unfortunately, will now die if he is the last one alive on the team. While it saves you the guilt of shooting the little guy, I can’t help but feel a little bad for him, even though he’s spreading the spike, I’ve worked so hard to get there . He also won’t be able to shock players outside of his range, which is a huge plus.

  • Fixed a bug where the voice chat UI would go dark when your agent was blinded. Now you can see, even when your agent can’t.
  • Fixed a bug where the join party button was still active even though the party invite was no longer valid.
  • Fixed a bug where when searching through your friends list, the number of people a friend is in a party with would not display correctly.
  • Fixed a bug where scrolling in the social panel would sometimes scroll other UI elements, such as the agent carousel.
  • Fixed a bug where the friend list would go dark when auto-reject friend requests were enabled.

While none of these changes drastically alter Valorant’s tier list, it’s worth loading one of Valorant’s best scopes to ensure that small changes like these don’t affect your gameplay.
