Ubisoft for its part abandons E3 2023, but announces a Forward for June
After PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo a few weeks ago, it’s Ubisoft’s turn to cancel its visit to E3. Indeed, despite previous statements that ensured the presence of the French publisher on the site, It seems that the initial plans have been modified.
In statements made to our colleagues from the VGC media, business leaders say they want to “take another course” and therefore organizes a new Ubisoft Forward from June 12 :
E3 has fostered some unforgettable moments in the industry over the years. While we originally planned to have an official presence at E3, we then made the decision to go in a different direction and will be hosting a Ubisoft Forward Live event on June 12 in Los Angeles. We look forward to sharing more details with our players very soon.
Among the games that could be presented on this occasion, obviously we think of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. These two softwares are particularly awaited by the fans, but they have not yet been entitled to the slightest image of gameplay… it would be time!
Other titles like Skull & Bones, The Crew: Motorfest or even the Splinter Cell remake could also be among the main attractions of the event. We are also entitled to expect a few surprises, such as the return of some forgotten franchises.
As a reminder, Xbox will also be hosting its own event. next June 11 with a showcase focused on a large catalog of games, then a show dedicated exclusively to Starfield : the giant Bethesda expected for the month of September.
