Electronic Arts has decided to spare no human resources in the development of the new scripted campaign of Battlefield. For this, a new team will be formed who will be in charge of it.
EA DATA is to form a new team which will help flesh out the upcoming Battlefield game’s single-player campaign; Christopher Dring reported this information from GamesIndustry.biz.
DICE, as one of the studios working on Battlefield, was originally supposed to work on multiplayer in the upcoming Battlefield 7 (working title). The single-player campaign is the responsibility of Ridgeline Games, a studio led by Marcus Letho whose portfolio includes work on Halo.
Actually Electronic Arts will involve yet another team, to co-create the single-player campaign in the possible sequel.
So far, little is known about the work on the next installment of the shooter series. Last year, there were rumors about BF’s latest installment, which wouldn’t debut until 2024; this was supposed to be due to intensive work on improving Battlefield 2042, which turned out to be one of the weakest installments in the series.
It’s possible that in fact EA’s ability is now targeted to work on Battlefield 7; We recently reported the cancellation of several corporate projects, including Battlefield Mobile.
A semi-professional musician whose passion began in childhood and continues to this day. As a child, he thought he would become a rock star (and to this day he still has some hope of that happening). He played in various bands during his high school and college years, but was not successful with any of them, however, he partly earns his living through music; unfortunately he plays pot music at weddings. He studied journalism and took his first steps in radio, but he did not stay there long, preferring to look for something else. He held various jobs, often unrelated to his profession; for several years he was even a bartender. He arrived at GlobeLiveMedia in December 2020 and since then has been a loyal Newsroom Padawan, although he also worked with Friendly Fire, where he was in charge of their TikTok.
