Update: We have good news! For those who were disappointed by mirror edge after being delisted on Xbox, EA corrected the original post and confirmed that the game would remain. Phew!
“An earlier version of this announcement included Mirror‘s Should. It was a mistake. We currently have no removal plans Mirror‘s Should digital storefronts.
original story: EA and developer DICE have sadly revealed that four more titles from their back catalog will be removed from digital stores next month. All four games date back to the Xbox 360 era, including fan-favorite Mirror’s Edge.
The following Xbox games will no longer be available for purchase digitally on April 28, 2023:
A few months later, all online services for older titles will also be discontinued, meaning existing owners will no longer be able to access online features. These four Xbox titles will go offline on December 8, 2023.
DICE announced the news via a “final announcement” post, as the team “is now focused on current and future releases.”
Now the post is not specifically mention EA Play, but unfortunately we expect all four to be removed from the library on the same date. This means that if they leave the EA Play library, these titles will also not be accessible through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
