The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was absolutely packed with intriguing and groundbreaking gameplay elements when it released in 2017. Now, six years later, we eagerly await the release of the sequel. But The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom hasn’t shown much in terms of gameplay or changes from the previous one, at least for now.

The game producer Eiji Aonumahe said in a now-deleted tweet (thanks to href=”https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2023/03/eiji-aonuma-on-zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom-expect -new – gameplay-that-will-change-the-game-world” target=”_blank”>Nintendo Life) that in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, “the player’s free imagination will be fulfilled with new game modes that will cause changes in the game world.”

It could mean a lot of things, but it seems that as a player we will be able to directly influence the world of Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom. As Aonuma deleted the tweet after posting it, it looks like we don’t have any more details at this time as to what he meant by that.

Doug Bowser has confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be well worth the $70 it costs, and it’s hoped the game will be a hit when it releases on May 12.
