A new The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom-themed Nintendo Switch OLED model is set to be revealed later today.

Yesterday March 27, Nintendo announced a special presentation of Tears of the Kingdom for today March 28, with 10 minutes of new gameplay. Shortly after that announcement, the following Reddit post was posted, with a GameStop employee alleging evidence of a new Switch hardware listing.

The apparent GameStop employee speculates that this new hardware listing could be a special Tears of the Kingdom-themed OLED model of the Nintendo Switch. The user even provides photographic evidence of a new entry in GameStop’s database showing that there is a new Switch hardware listing.

A special-edition Nintendo Switch OLED model for Tears of the Kingdom wouldn’t be too much of a surprise, given the scale of Nintendo’s upcoming Zelda game. With less than two months to go, anticipation for the Breath of the Wild sequel is at an all-time high among fans around the world.

Nintendo could be gearing up to introduce the new Switch model along with the new gameplay later today. Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma will guide viewers through new gameplay changes and details, and a new Switch edition would be a great note to end the presentation.

Now, it’s worth noting that Breath of the Wild never received a special-edition Switch model, but that’s likely because it was a day-one launch title for the console, rather than ‘something else. Tune in to the presentation at 7am PT / 10am ET / 3pm GMT to see what Aonuma and company have in store for us.
