Totally silent since its announcement in 2018, the next installment of Bethesda’s flagship series could land on Xbox Series X | S, but also PlayStation 5.

If the war continues between Xbox and PlayStation over the Activision-Blizzard acquisition, that of Bethesda in 2020 will push certain titles to only appear in the Xbox ecosystem. Will this be the case with The Elder Scrolls 6?

The Elder Scrolls 6 could finally be coming to PS5

Several months ago, Phil Spencer, The Xbox boss said that the arrival of future Bethesda hits on PlayStation consoles would be considered on a case-by-case basis. Still, the Starfield and Skyrim sequel exclusives seemed set in stone.

In fact, as Axios’ Stephen Totilo pointed out on Twitter, Microsoft officials said last December that they have three games developed by ZeniMax Studios coming to PC and Xbox only. At that time, it was logically assumed that in addition to Redfall and the famous space RPG, it was also TES 6.

However, last week, a representative for the green brand claimed that the current plan calls for the removal of only two PlayStation gamer titles: presumably Redfall and Starfield. Afterwards, Although it is only speculation, The Elder Scrolls 6 could finally land on PS5!

Unfortunately, we probably won’t have confirmation for several months. In effect, It’s a safe bet that Bethesda will not highlight this sixth opus before the release of Starfield next September.
