These days, gamers are used to games coming out, being continuously updated, and often even receiving free content (in addition to paid DLCs). But among the developer community, there are those who don’t support this trend, and one of those who isn’t happy with this situation is The Good Life creator and industry veteran. Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro.

In a rather forceful post on Twitter over the weekend, he made it clear that it was unreasonable to think that games should have more free content. In parallel, Swery compares it to the cost of a cup of coffee from Starbucks, which is often more than some DLCs that last several hours.

What do you think, is Swery right or is it reasonable to expect continuous free game content updates?
