Nintendo has announced that a new version 2.1.1 update will be released for Splaton 3 hey.
Following the expansion pass announcement, support will be added with an initial bonus. Various fixes are also included.
The full patch notes for the Splatoon 3 version 2.1.1 update are as follows:
Expansion Pass Order Bonuses Available
- Players who order the Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass – Inkopolis & Side Order DLC will receive a bonus to boost the in-game battle.
- In order to get your Battle Boost bonus, you must first purchase and download the DLC content. Then launch the Splatoon 3 game, visit the lobby terminal and select Get Stuff.
Player controls fixes
- Fixed an issue that caused a loss of communication when performing certain actions with the Splattershot Jr. or Custom Splattershot Jr. weapons, even though those actions can usually be performed.
- Fixed an issue that caused ink to display incorrectly if a Slosher and Tri-Slosher attacked at the same time.
- Fixed an issue where there could be a delay in recovering existing damage if you were in range of a Wave Breaker or Big Shot attack and avoided taking damage from jumping or hitting other means.
Multiplayer fixes
- Fixed an issue where players between the field and a Tacticooler could get stuck inside the field if the Tacticooler was set up in the corner of the field.
- Due to this change, you will now be able to go through the Tacticooler, even in Inkling or Octoling form, while performing an action that causes you to move quickly, such as Dodge Roll while wielding two.
- Fixed an issue in Brinewater Springs where players could climb on rocks outside of the stage.
Other fixes
- Fixed an issue that occurred when replaying Tricolor Turf War battles where Deep Cut cheers were sometimes for teams other than those in the battle.
- Fixed an issue that occurred when playing Shoal Job scenarios. If the replay contained weapons marked with a question mark, it could cause the screen to go black and prevent the game from launching.
