Money doesn’t make everyone happy, at least in Hollywood. And if not, tell Will Smith. Apparently, the actor was very hurt by Chris Rock’s latest Netflix special, and even hinted that he found the whole show embarrassing. A source close to the superstar commented on the case to Entertainment Tonight saying:

“Will is embarrassed and hurt by what Chris said about him and his family on his Netflix special. He didn’t watch it but people told him what Chris said… is everywhere when you look online and on social media, so Will and Jada saw comments about it.”

The person also went on to mention how Will just wants everyone to let go of what happened and focus on other things.

“Will apologized to Chris and would like Chris to let it go…Will worked on himself and was banned from the Oscars for 10 years. He thinks enough is enough and wants Chris to move on, so he and everyone else can too.”

Smith also found it unpleasant that Netflix was involved in all of this and doesn’t understand how such a big company can accept this kind of “scatological humor”.

“Will is also upset that Netflix is a part of it and sees Chris insulting Jada as being mean again…He’s upset that Netflix gave Chris this platform to post these messages and it’s in bad taste.”

All these complaints through a third party do little to improve the actor’s situation.
