While the Resident Evil 4 Remake brings a fresh coat of paint and exciting new content to the classic survival horror game, it’s worth noting that some features from the original game have been removed. Or at least modified. Back then, Laser Sight in Resident Evil 4 was a game-changer, helping players defeat enemies like Won with headshots and precise aiming. And while the game has undergone a modernized makeover, fans are still clamoring for the return of this trusted accessory. In fact, Laser Sight is back in the new version, but is it really good?

Is laser aiming good in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

You can get the laser sight in Resident Evil 4 Remake by talking to the merchant. For the price of 10 Spinel, you can buy it and equip it with the SG-09 R, Punisher, and Sentinel Nine guns. In the new version, the Laser Sight might seem like a flashy accessory for your reticle instead of the reliable tool we all knew and loved in the original. In the original game, aiming was all about space relative to the world, but in the new version, it’s all about the center of the screen. So while the Laser Sight accessory looks cool, it doesn’t convey the benefits of the original’s sighting system. Also, with enemies moving unsteadily in the new version, compensating for their movement can be a little frustrating.
Although not the same as before, Laser Sight offers some advantages. For example, at the start of the game, when aiming at one of the guns above, your reticle will be slightly larger before zooming in further, simulating Leon’s aim adjustment after drawing his gun. The laser sight eliminates this delay and instantly provides 100% accuracy. While that’s not a huge benefit, it can be a lifesaver in a pinch.
