Information about the new Perfect Dark game has been rather scarce since the adventure was announced more than two and a half years ago. We know it is developed by initiative there Crystal dynamicsbut other than that, it’s just loose rumors and hard-to-place gossip, and now it’s time to add another batch of unconfirmed information to our knowledge base.
ResetEra’s ever-vigilant sleuths found a LinkedIn profile of someone working on the game in question, and the title is referred to in that profile as Perfect Black (remake), something that had never been done before. This, of course, may be a way to distinguish the new game from other installments in the series, but since you’ve already talked about a reboot (and not a remake), it’s still worth mentioning in these terms.
It remains to be seen whether the information turns out to be accurate, but at Gamereactor we believe that it is high time that Joanna Dark returns to the forefront of video games. The wait was too long.
