Forza Motorsport was one of the games that was shown off at Microsoft’s event in June last year, with the promise that it would eventually be released within the next twelve months. That would mean it should be released no later than June 30 this year, but obviously that’s not going to happen.
Yes OK a delay is confirmed, we don’t have a new release date yet, and it’s been speculated that it could arrive in 2024. Luckily, that doesn’t seem to be the case. In a new official blog series called FORZA COMMUNITY HUBS, Forza Motorsport is briefly mentioned along with a 2023 confirmation:
“While we are focused on polishing and preparing Forza Motorsport for release later this year, we are always eager to hear your feature and track requests, we can keep in mind what you want the more to see for the future.”
With Starfield launching in September, Forza Motorsport shortly after, and possibly Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II as well, it looks like Xbox gamers have a pretty dramatic drop to look forward to.
