Resident Evil 4 Remake launched today on PS4 and PS5, but players on the latter console are encountering a bug that causes flashing lights to appear at the bottom of the screen. Capcom has now released a patch for the bug until they can fix the issue properly in a future update.
How to Fix Flashing Lights in Resident Evil 4
Flashing lights only appear at the bottom of the screen on PS5 when certain settings are selected. While the developer plans to fix the issue in a future update, here it is How to solve the problem during:
- Save your game and close it. Restart the game.
- If this does not resolve the issue, change ONE of the following settings:
- In the View tab, set Depth of Field to “off”
- In the camera tab, set Motion Blur to “on”
Resident Evil 4 Remake launched today with several changes from the original game, including PSVR 2 compatibility, but not the more popular Separate Ways or Mercenaries DLC mode.
