The release of the Arkane Austin software is just around the corner, and the good news has just fueled the inside stretch of communication.
Scheduled for next May, Redfall will seek to bring players together allowing them to share games between different platforms.
Redfall will offer crossplay between Xbox and PC
To go back in depth on the important elements of the adventure, software developers got caught up in the question and answer game. If these include the different weapons and occupations available to the player during the day and at dusk, we also learn a bit more about crossplay.
This point had already been addressed by the members of the study a few months ago, but without further details. Now we know that Xbox players, whether they got the game by purchasing it or through Game Pass, will be able to play with those who downloaded it through Steam. So you don’t need to be on the same console as your friends to play co-op!
Crossplay confirmed between Xbox + PC Game Pass + Steam + Epic Game Store.

Previously, the developers also returned to another key element of the game’s structure. Indeed, the dynamic difficulty will lead the game to adapt it according to several elements: your level of progress, the improvements of your character or the number of players present in the game. This will vary the number of enemies present, their power and their level of threat.
As a reminder, Redfall is planned for May 2 on PC and Xbox Series X|S, and will land day one on Microsoft’s Game Pass.
