If there’s one core problem that has plagued Halo Infinite pretty much since release, it’s a severe lack of meaningful post-launch content. The team did not deliver any So far, new weapons and additional maps to play with have also been pretty hard to come by. Late last year, however, the arrival of Forge began to alleviate that last issue somewhat, and the game’s new community-driven public playlist is just what Halo Infinite needs right now. .
Halo Infinite ‘Community Collection’ is a new featured playlist for multiplayer and, as the name suggests, it’s based on community content. Currently, four maps are featured in a variety of Halo Infinite 4v4 game modes.
While most of the current maps in the playlist borrow elements from previous Halo games (one of which is a Damnation remake of Halo: Combat Evolved), four maps that feel fresh in Halo were very enjoyable to play .Infinite, all in one. wow, nothing less. Yes, Forge and its Server Browser have been out for a few months now, but the proper selection of 343 to fit these creations into the standard multiplayer rotation is key to Infinite’s future.
The Community Collection, a timeless playlist dedicated to showcasing the incredible work of the Forge community, is NOW LIVE! We’ll continue to improve this playlist with more community creations, so stay tuned! We jumped on this playlist a lot since his arrival last week, and we can’t wait to see where he goes next. 343 said the mode will be “updated with more community content in the future”; we just hope it remains a permanent playlist for the foreseeable future.
As for exactly where things go next? There is A lot Create creations that the team could include in the standard multiplayer mode. Of course, we don’t expect 343 to start promoting some of the, ahem, crazier creations in this mode, but there is still a lot to do anyway. Halo Infinite Big Team Battle has been particularly contained since release, so how about a dedicated Big Team Forge mode? That would be lovely.
Leaning into more remake-based content with Big Team is always going to be a solid option too, right? Yes, we want to play new maps as much as anyone, but the Halo of old thrived on the interaction between Spartans and vehicles – that playstyle deserves more attention in Infinite to be honest. ! Blood Gulch, Zanzibar, Valhalla, High Ground and more are worth coming back to somehow.
Anyway, enough about the future, more about the here and now. The new list of reproduction of the community of Halo Infinite ha sido una gran bocanada de aire fresco la semana pasada, y creemos que la combinación de maps creados por Forge y la curación directed por los desarrolladores podría ser clave para mantener el juego próspero en 2023 and beyond. Community creations have always been important to Halo, and with how Infinite’s “live service” has gone so far, we think they could be basic At the moment.
