PSVR 2 Update Details (March 8, 2023)
After today’s PS5 update, DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers can be updated wirelessly. Fortunately, this also applies to PSVR Sense 2 controllers. Several users have confirmed that they can update VR controllers wirelessly.
Reddit users have also noticed an improvement in image quality, especially when playing Horizon: Call of the Mountain and Gran Turismo 7. One user noted that Sony fixed an issue some players were having where they had trouble turning off their TV when using the PSVR. 2. This issue did not affect all players, but it was widespread enough to be reported frequently since launch. It appears that PSVR 2 had compatibility issues with certain settings, but players were unable to determine the root cause.
We’ll let our readers know if Sony releases patch notes for today’s PSVR 2 update and we’ll continue to follow the discussions on various forums.
